This recipe doesn’t have exact measurements, just use what you have on hand and adjust as you go.
Ingredients:
- Oats
- Orange juice or apple juice
- Oat milk or Almond milk
- Cottage cheese
- Vanilla yogurt
- Frozen fruit or frozen berries
- Coconut milk (for variation)
- Lime juice
- Honey or maple syrup
How to:
- Put about 1 dl (approximately 1/2 cup) of oats in a blender and pour in liquid (juice or milk). Let the oats soak for about 10 minutes until you achieve a porridge-like consistency.
- Add a few tablespoons of cottage cheese to the blender and blend until you get a smooth and creamy texture.
- Add frozen fruit and berries and pour in more liquid (juice, milk, or coconut milk). Blend until the mixture is completely smooth without any lumps. Adjust the liquid as needed to achieve the desired consistency.
- Taste the smoothie and add honey or maple syrup if desired for extra sweetness.
- Pour the mixture into small bottles and place them in the refrigerator or freezer.
